This past year has been one of my best spiritually and temporally!! I did a lot of reading and have learned a lot about how to view life. Here´s my TOP 5 chart for 2011.

5. Social Networks
In July I expanded my art by creating a FAN PAGE on Facebook, it was an instant success, 300 new fans in the first 3 weeks from over 20 different Countries.

4. Daily Deviation
In July MAYAN PRINCESS was featured as a Daily Deviation thanks to =sironabennet I received many great comments.

In October SKIN AND HAIR BRUSHES was featured as a Daily Deviation thanks to =demoncherry It was great to see how much a brush set like this was actually needed for all kinds of art styles.

2. Exotique 7
XIMENA was featured in this year´s EXOTIQUE 7 Artbook Series by Ballistics Publishing. More than 700 artists from 71 countries submitted almost 3,000 entries to make Exotique 7 the largest collection of digital character art ever assembled in print. It is always great to be along side some of the greatest artist in the world.

In January I was married to my beautiful wife Zeyla. With out her I wouldn´t have been able to accomplish anything.

Ever since my last painting MAYAN PRINCESS I have dedicated my time to Motion Graphics. I was asked by Artsquared to be featured in their second volume of Digital Painters art book. I was excited to be noticed for once.

My Leah Dizon painting made the cover of Digital Artist Issue #4... They said they were going to pay me, but they never did, but its ok, I would have payed them to be featured on the cover haha.

3. EXOTIQUE 6 www.ballisticpublishing.com/bo…
This was a very great opportunity, I remember when I first started painting I used to look up to these artists that were featured in these books and now I am one of them. That was a great feeling.

2. EXPRESAR artedigitalgt.com/
Expresar is an art book I decided to make featuring only Guatemalan artists. It was great to find a lot of hidden talent in our little country. I finished the digital version. Next year we publish.

1. ENGAGED
My most important achievement of them all, is that I got engaged to my fiance in September, we will be getting married in January.
